Hazardous Exposure
Hazardous pollutants, chemicals and cancer-causing agents are everywhere, including in the air, soil and water. They affect us at work, at home and while on vacation.
While there are some precautionary measures we can take including purchasing home air purifiers and avoiding outdoor exercise when pollution levels are high, it is often hard to protect ourselves against chemicals from factories, agricultural property and harmful work environments.
Cancer agents such as asbestos affect us at factories, old office buildings and schools. We are exposed to toxic mold in older homes, and pesticides and chemical spills threaten our soil and drinking water.
There is recourse available to people who have been injured by hazardous exposure, and contacting a personal injury attorney is an important first step in getting the medical attention and financial compensation you deserve.
