    Modern-Day 'Rainmaker'

Straight from the pages of John Grisham's, The Rainmaker, comes a story from California where a door-to-door insurance salesman called upon Patsy Bates and convinced her that he could get her a lower monthly premium if she switched to Health Net insurance.

    Drugs

    Advair

People who have asthma use Advair to improve lung function and reduce asthma symptoms. However, the medication has many side effects. Advair should not be used during an asthma attack, because it can increase your symptoms or fail to resolve them. One of the active drugs in Advair, salmeterol, has been shown to increase the risk of asthma-related death. You should also avoid or be careful using Advair if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant.

People who have asthma use Advair to improve lung function and reduce asthma symptoms. However, Advair should not be used during an asthma attack, because it can increase your symptoms or fail to resolve them. Advair can increase symptoms and result in death. There have been more than 4,000 Advair-related deaths. One of the active drugs in Advair, salmeterol, has been shown to increase the risk of asthma-related death.

You should avoid or use caution when using Advair if you have:
    • allergies to food or medication
    • heart disease
    • epilepsy
    • diabetes
    • glaucoma
    • liver disease
    • tuberculosis
    • osteoporosis
You should also avoid or be careful using Advair if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant. Advair can be harmful to an unborn baby, and it can affect growth in children. Children younger than 12 years old should not take Advair.

Side effects caused by Advair include:
    • weight gain
    • sore throat
    • hoarseness
    • headaches
    • leg cramps
    • anxiety
    • dizziness
    • insomnia
    • mood swings
    • acid reflux
The two main components of asthma include a constriction of muscles around the airways and an inflammation and irritation of the airways. Advair treats these two components by supplying fluticasone proprionate, a drug that reduces the inflammation, and salmeterol, a drug that relaxes the muscles around the airways. Many things can go wrong, including an increased asthma attack and serious side effects. If you experience any of these things, contact a personal injury lawyer right away. You may be able to receive compensation for injuries, medical expenses, and pain and suffering.
