I just wanted you to know that I know the best source for finding a job. Fine, I’ll tell you. The best place to search for a new job is…friends and family. I’m not saying that you should call all your friends and tell them you’ll start mowing their lawns for $10 a yard. The reason friends and family are the best is because they already know you and your capabilities. If you are searching for a new job, send a copy of your resume to your friends and family and let them know you are on the job hunt. They may know of an opening in their company or know a friend whose sister just got promoted and needs a replacement for her old job. Plus, working with your friends is awesome. I have the great pleasure of working with some of my best friends and I can tell you our work environment is always happy and very productive.
