2008 Lead Paint Recalls

We’re barely halfway through February, and already there have been five children’s products recalled because of excessive lead levels.

In January, there were 11. It’s important to tell your friends, family, and neighbors about these recalls. Lead, when ingested, can lead to serious illnesses and injuries, including behavioral problems, learning disabilities, brain damage, and death. Some experts believe ADD, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other conditions can be linked to lead levels.

Here is a list of the 2008 recalls so far, complete with manufacturer contact info and identifying pictures. Products should be taken away from children immediately! E-mail this list to friends and get the word out there!
