The girl that brought down New York’s governor is Ashley Alexandra Dupre. She’s 22, 5 feet 5 inches and 105 pounds, and calls herself an aspiring singer. She also charges $1,000 per hour for her call-girl services.

Eliot Spitzer, now resigned governor of New York, allegedly paid more than $4,000 for her services, according to court documents. Dupre was worried about paying rent in New York, and took money from Spitzer to help pay the bills. She would not tell reporters how often she had sex with Spitzer.
 
Dupre is believed to be part of the Emperor’s Club, the call girl sex ring that Spitzer paid to supply him with “company.” She appeared in court on Monday as a witness against the four people who operated the club. As a prostitute, Dupre was known as “Kristen.” The name on her birth certificate is Ashley Youmans.
 
Dupre said, “I just don’t want to be thought of as a monster.” She hasn’t been charged with a crime, but prostitution is illegal. She has found an attorney to represent her.
