When you’re getting rehab advice from the king of rock (and the king of drug abuse) himself, you know you’d better listen. The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards warned Amy Winehouse that if she doesn’t get sober, she isn’t going to be around much longer. Richards spoke to the Mail On Sunday, and said that if Winehouse doesn’t get clean, she won’t be able to sing either, comparing her to the Rolling Stones in the 70s: “[Drugs] completely took over our lives creatively and we couldn’t do this and couldn’t do that.”
Winehouse, a British singer who recently won Grammys for her music, has skyrocketed to fame in recent years because of her unique voice as well as her ability to remain on the front page of the tabloids, day after day after day.
When she’s not wandering down the street without shoes, crying, completely disoriented, and drugged almost completely past singing ability, she’s singing “I don’t want to go to rehab, no, no, no.” It’s her most popular song, and one her parents wish her fans would stop buying. They want everyone to stop supporting Winehouse’s defiant stance against going to rehab.
Check out some of her recent tabloid pictures below.
