It seems that some restaurants do not care how good or bad their service is, just as long as their food is good. Part of the reason I go out is because I want someone to serve me so I can simply relax and eat. I can make good tasting food at home, but I either do not have time or am too tired. Therefore, when I go to a restaurant that doesn’t have great service I rarely go back. It is over 50% of the experience to me, so no matter how great the food is, the service may stop me from ever going back. Recently, a fine steak house went out of business in my town simply because everyone knew the service as awful.
