Recently, I was volunteering at a health fair and was sitting at a booth with the same woman for a few hours. We started talking about reading, and she told me her strategy when it comes to books. She reads the first chapter, the last chapter and a few chapters in the middle. She likes to read because she likes to know what happens. I am opposite of her. I like to read for the enjoyment of reading. Why read a book if you aren’t going to get into it? I’ll find out what happens eventually, so I am not going to ruin the surprise and I am going to let the story build.
