Hank Blalock, Rangers infielder, has been taking medication for his right wrist, and it looks like his injury will cost him a few games. He suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome and will return for an examination on Tuesday, forcing him to miss the three-game series against the Rays. He is expected to be out for at least a couple of days.
He also may have to undergo rehab before he can get his name crossed of the disabled list.
Rangers manager Ron Washington said the most important thing is when Blalock can play. Unfortunately, Blalock’s wrist pain isn’t the only injury keeping him from the game; he also went for 15 days on the disabled list because of a hamstring injury that was reported on April 29.
