It is hard to know which is preferable: a small hospital or a large hospital. Large hospitals have benefits like a well-trained stuff, most likely a trusted name, and plenty of resources easily available like all types of doctors and medications. However, sometimes at large hospitals it is easy to get a little lost in the crowd, and you may become just a number and another chart. At smaller hospitals you may get a little better service since there will simply be less patients and less corporate policies, although you forgo the benefits of being in a large hospital.
