Celebrities can become “washed up” relatively quickly, and find themselves searching for various ways to get an income. A recent craze has been celebrity reality series. It seems that it is much more fun to watch a celebrity injure themselves or struggle with something than it is to watch a normal person. Celebrities get injured on movie sets and in their personal lives, but that does not seem to be enough for the tabloids and people who love entertainment news.

One new show is called “Celebrity Circus.” It is about celebrities who train themselves to perform various circus acts. The show has clips of the celebrities getting ready and training for the acts. They are constantly making fools of themselves and have to result to hurting themselves to get a few laughs. The show has caused several injuries to the celebrities and is causing some serious problems, but it seems that viewers rate the show even higher when the celebrities hurt themselves. The show has a panel of judges who rate each celebrity’s performance, and then the viewers also vote on which performance was the best. It is like “American Idol” except instead of singing and finding upcoming artists, it is circus acts and finding celebrities on their last straw before a they completely disappears.

Another interesting show is called “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” The show has various celebrities who undergo rehab for drug and alcohol addictions. Dr. Drew, who is an addiction specialist, rehabs the celebrities. The show includes celebrities who are recovering from personal injuries as well, such as back injury and surgery from previous addictions. This is another show that finds celebrities who are on thin ice and makes them look like idiots. The show is aired on VH1 and has been rapidly growing in popularity.

Celebrity injuries and rehab can be fun entertainment, and T.V. shows like the ones mentioned above seem to be popping up everywhere. The main point is that people find injuries entertaining when they come from celebrities. Injuries are serious things, but it is hard to take a celebrity’s injury serious when it happens on a show like “Celebrity Circus” or “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” Luckily all of the injuries on these reality shows have been minor, it would be sad to see someone actually get hurt. Also, despite the entertainment value, at least shows that help celebrities rehab or lose weight are making them more healthy.
