A man went to a brain store to get some brain to complete a study. He sees a sign remarking on the quality of professional brain offered at this particular brain store. He begins to question the butcher about the cost of these brains. There are a lot of funny injury jokes circulating on the Web. Here’s a small sampling of just three. By now you’ve heard about BPA, or Bisphenol-A, a harmful compound that leaches from plastic bottles into your water, causing cancer, infertility, growth and birth defects, and more. It’s time to stop using water bottles with BPA, but how can you be sure your new bottle doesn’t have it? Here’s a helpful list of tips to check for. The question on most people’s minds nowadays is, how safe is my plastic water bottle? If it’s made of Bisphenol A (BPA), it isn’t safe at all. The following techniques, although under heavy debate, are still legal in the U.S., and are used on detainees, POWs, and other people the U.S. interrogates. Careful; these photos are very graphic and disturbing. John McCain endured horrific torture during his time as a POW in Vietnam. He was shot down in 1967 while on a bombing mission, and he was captured and held as a prisoner of war. Interestingly, it’s hard to pin down his position on whether the U.S. has the right to torture the people it captures. After little more than one month, there have been actual incidents of violence around the world related to the release of Grand Theft Auto IV. One man in London was stabbed by a stranger when he cut in line to buy his copy of Grand Theft Auto. Another man had his jaw broken when two teenagers mugged him and stole the copy of the game he was carrying. In 2006, a lawsuit blamed the game for three New Mexico murders committed by a 14-year-old boy. It is helpful to read through the checklist and make preparations in case of a fire (like keeping all your important documents in one easily-accessible location), and to talk about the checklist with all family members.
