Being in the glitz and glamour of Hollywood isn’t always as easy as it seems. Many actors of the silver screen get seriously injured while filming their movies. During the filming of the movie “Troy”, Brad Pitt, who plays Achilles, ironically tore his achilles tendon.
Russell Crow has had many bumps and bruises, including a shoulder injury that set the movie Gladiator back several weeks in its filming.
I guess it is fortunate for all, movie stars and movie viewers alike, that on these sets the actors have the best and brightest in the medical field at their disposal. However, the true praise goes to all those stunt men and women who risk life and limb to get their shot. I wonder how the rates are on their life insurance policies?
