Eight top clothing lines have agreed to pay a combined $320,000 for failing to report the hazards of its drawstring sweatshirts and jackets to the Consumer Product Safety Commission in a timely manner. The FDA issued an alert today about the prescription cough medicine Tussionex, which contains dangerous and potentially deadly hydrocodone. Wells and adapted to be read on the radio in 1938. The story tells a tale about an alien invasion, with very little chance of escape. What’s going on with America’s youth? As of today, there have been five school shootings in the past week, leaving 11 dead and more than 20 injured, some critically. The shootings took place in Illinois, California, Tennessee, Ohio and Louisiana. Yet another children’s product, A Life of Faith Charm Bracelet Sets, is being recalled because it violates lead paint standards. The bracelets, like many other products that contain excessive levels of lead, were manufactured in China. Over-the-counter cough and cold medicine can seriously injure or kill children under the age of 2, according to an FDA statement released on January 17. Medicines that can be deadly to young children include decongestants, expectorants, antihistamines and cough suppressants. |
