Healthcare professionals were recently warned by Exubera manufacturers, Pfizer, that the insulin might be linked to lung cancer. The short-acting insulin is breathed through the mouth as an inhaler, and it helps control high blood sugar in diabetic patients. Tanning is bad for you…we’ve heard it plenty of times before. But now the FDA has dedicated a whole site to the damaging (and deadly) effects of tanning, and right in time for the summer. |
