Hank Blalock, Rangers infielder, has been taking medication for his right wrist, and it looks like his injury will cost him a few games. He suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome and will return for an examination on Tuesday, forcing him to miss the three-game series against the Rays.

Ortiz was out for his second consecutive game on Sunday…all because of a knee bruise. This left the Red Sox down to the Rays, 3-0.
