Don’t Be Liable for Slip and Fall: Sprinkle That Ice Melter!18 Nov Posted by: Cara in: Adverse Events, Injuries Ice and snow removers like salt blends can cause substantial damage to your driveway or walkway. It can create cracks and slowly erode the cement, resulting in a hefty cost to your pocket book, but someone slipping and falling on your property can cause you much more than that. It is wintertime and with that comes a few personal injury concerns. Most people have seen Chevy Chase’s Christmas Vacation, where he makes a metal saucer shoot down a hill, nearly dying the whole way. Of course, at the time they occur, they aren’t funny at all. But maybe, after years have passed and you have moved thousands of miles away, some of those moments turn into funny stories. Here are a few of those stories (and by the way, all names have been changed…to respect privacy, you know?). |
