The season isn’t starting off so well for all of us Utah Jazz fans. Deron Williams suffered a severe sprained ankle in a pre-season game earlier this month. He has been unable to play in any of the regular season games thus far. Coaches and staff are hopeful Williams will be up and back to his regular routine in a couple weeks. The biggest risks in soccer include head injuries from crashing into other players or falls, broken legs from being kicked or just from the stress of the turf, and knee injuries from twists, sprains, and kicks. And, as seen below, there’s always that risk of getting kicked somewhere you don’t want to get kicked. There are some crazy sports injuries that happen in football fields, basketball courts, skateboarding parks, and just about anywhere else you can play sports or ride boards, bikes or skates. Injuries include broken bones, fractures, torn muscles, concussions, and worse. |
