Beware of Wrap Rage This Holiday Season

When families get together for the holidays and exchange presents, the difficulty of opening the present usually is not considered. However, the term "wrap rage" has become commonly accepted, according to Wikipedia, to describe heightened levels of anger, frustration, and violence resulting from the inability to open hard-to-remove packaging. Wrap rage is something everyone experiences during the holidays, but we have never been able to put a name to it.

Every year in Oklahoma, there are 200,000 civil cases and 185,000 traffic cases.

Under Oklahoma law, personal injury victims must prove the person who caused their injuries was negligent. This means proving the person failed to act in a reasonable way, and an injury resulted from that failure. Personal injury attorneys are experts at helping victims win two types of money awards: “compensatory damages” and “punitive damages.” Compensatory damages pay back all the money the victim has lost due to the injury, such as medical bills and lost wages. Punitive damages are meant to punish the person responsible by requiring him or her to pay even more money to the defendant.
Oklahoma’s statute of limitations for personal injury cases is two years, which is a very short time period to prepare a claim. If that two year mark expires, personal injury victims cannot file claims. Most personal injury attorneys suggest you file as soon as possible, and with their help, you can recover damages such as medical expenses, lost wages, and property damages.
